Senior Legal Counsel **Company:** Notaria CDMX **Location:** Mutrah Corniche, Muscat, Oman **Salary:** OMR 2,600 / month Job Summary Notaria CDMX is seeking an experienced **Senior Legal Counsel** to provide strategic legal advice, manage contracts and legal matters, and help ensure the organization operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong legal expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to advise senior management on complex matters. Responsibilities * Provide legal advice and guidance to management and internal departments. * Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts and agreements. * Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the organization. * Assess legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. * Manage corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory legal matters. * Review business transactions and provide legal recommendations. * Ensure company policies and business activities comply with applicable laws. * Coordinate with external lawyers, legal advisors, government authorities, and other stakeholders. * Prepare legal opinions, notices, correspondence, and other legal documents. * Support dispute resolution, claims, litigation, and regulatory proceedings when required. * Maintain organized records of contracts, legal documents, and ongoing matters. * Develop and improve legal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks. * Conduct legal research and provide practical recommendations to management. * Support due diligence activities for business transactions and partnerships. * Provide legal training and guidance to employees when necessary. * Protect the organization's legal interests and confidential information. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Law or an equivalent legal qualification. * Admission to the relevant bar or legal authority where applicable. * Proven experience as a Legal Counsel, Corporate Lawyer, or similar senior legal role. * Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, corporate law, and regulatory compliance. * Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills. * Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements. * Strong understanding of legal risk management and corporate governance. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong negotiation and problem\-solving abilities. * High level of professional ethics and confidentiality. * Ability to work independently and provide practical business\-oriented legal advice. * Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
