Senior Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities * Lead the development of interior design concepts, layouts, and design proposals. * Manage projects from **concept stage through detailed design and site execution**. * Prepare and review floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and working drawings. * Develop mood boards, material selections, furniture layouts, and 3D presentations. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams. * Conduct site visits, inspections, and design coordination meetings. * Review and approve shop drawings, material samples, mock\-ups, and technical submissions. * Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and accessories. * Ensure design intent is properly implemented during construction and fit\-out. * Provide technical solutions and resolve design and site\-related issues. * Review project progress and ensure work is completed according to approved designs, quality standards, budget, and schedule. * Mentor and guide junior interior designers and coordinate the design team. * Assist with BOQs, specifications, quotations, and project documentation. * Maintain strong relationships with clients and understand their requirements throughout the project. * Keep updated with current interior design trends, materials, and technologies. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in **Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field**. * Minimum **5–8 years of relevant experience** in interior design and fit\-out projects. * **Previous Bahrain experience is highly preferred.** * Strong knowledge of the **Bahrain interior design, construction, and fit\-out market**. * Good knowledge of local suppliers, contractors, materials, and construction practices. * Strong proficiency in **AutoCAD**. * Proficiency in **3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, V\-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, or similar software** is an advantage. * Strong understanding of space planning, technical detailing, materials, finishes, and furniture. * Excellent design, presentation, communication, and client\-handling skills. * Strong project coordination and problem\-solving abilities. * Ability to lead a design team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong portfolio demonstrating completed interior design and fit\-out projects. * Must be **currently available in Bahrain**. Preferred Candidate * Have **strong previous experience in Bahrain**. * Have established knowledge of **Bahrain suppliers, contractors, materials, and fit\-out practices**. * Have experience with **commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, or high\-end interior projects**. * Have experience coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors in Bahrain. * Can join immediately or within a short notice period.
