The successful candidate will provide senior technical expertise across geological investigations, site characterisation, geological mapping, ground investigation, data interpretation, and geotechnical/environmental assessments. Lead and coordinate geological investigations and site characterisation activities. Review and interpret geological, geotechnical, hydrogeological, and geophysical investigation data. Develop and maintain geological models and ground\-condition interpretations. Undertake geological mapping, field inspections, site reconnaissance, and logging of boreholes, trial pits, cores, and rock exposures. Supervise and technically review drilling, sampling, coring, logging, and in\-situ investigation activities. Establish and maintain appropriate geological logging standards and quality\-control procedures.
