As a Senior Estimation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our company's success. Your primary responsibility will be to provide accurate and detailed estimates for commercial kitchen projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions. You will work closely with our project management team, offering expert advice and guidance throughout the estimation process.
Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough site surveys and collect all necessary data for accurate estimation.
• Prepare detailed estimates, including material costs, labor requirements, and equipment needs.
• Analyze and interpret client requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project scope.
• Collaborate with the project management team to develop efficient project plans.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in commercial kitchen design and estimation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior estimation engineers.
• Review and approve estimates prepared by the estimation team, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain excellent communication with clients, addressing their queries and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, especially regarding health and safety.
Qualifications
• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in estimation, with a focus on commercial kitchens.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE construction and hospitality industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with a track record of guiding junior staff.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel and specialized estimation programs.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel within the region for site visits.
