Vistas GlobalEngineering·Doha, Qatar·Full\-time·Ref: RRFT\-VG\-BSO\-2026\-1033 **About the role** ------------------ We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Design Reviewer SME – Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical, or ELV to lead the technical review, assessment, and approval of engineering designs for major building, infrastructure, and fit\-out projects. The role is responsible for ensuring design compliance with project requirements, applicable local and international standards, regulatory authority requirements, and industry best practices. **What we're looking for** -------------------------- **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in architecture engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or ELV Systems Engineering. * Master’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Program Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred. * Minimum 15 years of experience in the field of engineering design or reviewing engineering designs and interior fit\-out for the required specialization. * Proven experience in reviewing and approving designs for major projects or government projects, or multi\-discipline projects within the State of Qatar or GCC countries. * Practical experience in coordinating between different disciplines and managing complex technical conflicts. * Advanced knowledge of international and local codes and standards and regulatory body requirements within the State of Qatar. * Proficiency in preparing technical reports and presentations, and using design programs and relevant engineering coordination software. * High ability to conduct technical analysis, make decisions, and deal with various project stakeholders. **Skills \& Competencies** * Expert\-level technical knowledge within the relevant engineering discipline. * Strong capability in design review, technical evaluation, and engineering decision\-making. * Advanced understanding of multidisciplinary engineering coordination and design integration. * Excellent technical report writing, documentation, and presentation skills. * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and risk assessment capabilities. * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. * Ability to review multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. * Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, construction processes, and operational requirements. * High level of professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to engineering excellence.
