Senior Design Engineer Mechanical

• Lead new product development (NPD) initiatives for DX and Unitary HVAC systems • Design, develop, and optimize HVAC products to meet technical, performance, and market requirements • Ensure all designs comply with ESMA (UAE), SASO (KSA), ESTIDAMA , and relevant international standards • Support and manage AHRI and Eurovent certification requirements, testing, and documentation • Collaborate with R&D, production, procurement, quality, and testing teams to bring innovative HVAC products to market • Review vendor submittals, technical data, and component selections • Support prototype testing, performance validation, energy efficiency evaluation, and product certification processes • Lead value engineering, cost optimization, and continuous product improvement initiatives • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers • Stay up to date with HVAC technologies, regulatory updates, and certification requirements in the Gulf region • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC product design and development, specifically with DX and Unitary systems • Strong understanding of the new product development lifecycle • Hands-on experience or solid working knowledge of AHRI and Eurovent certification processes • In-depth knowledge of ESMA, ESTIDAMA, and SASO standards • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills • Experience working in the UAE or wider Gulf region is highly preferred
