Job description

**Key Responsibilities:** * Administer operations and maintenance contracts for dams and associated facilities. * Review contract conditions, scopes of work, technical specifications, bills of quantities and tender documents. * Monitor contractors’ compliance with contractual obligations, performance standards, schedules and deliverables. * Review variation orders, change requests, claims, extensions of time and contractual correspondence. * Evaluate contractors’ payment applications and verify supporting documentation. * Prepare contractual assessments, recommendations and management reports. * Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, planning, cost control, procurement and legal teams. * Identify contractual risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. * Monitor contract milestones, notices, guarantees, insurance, penalties and close\-out requirements. * Support the preparation, tendering and award of new dam operations and maintenance contracts. * Participate in contractor meetings, commercial negotiations and dispute\-resolution activities. * Maintain complete and accurate contract records, correspondence, registers and audit trails. * Prepare monthly reports covering contractor performance, variations, claims, risks and recommended actions. * Ensure contracts comply with applicable Saudi regulations, client procedures and project governance requirements. **Minimum Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university. * Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university. * Minimum 8 years of experience in contracts administration, contract management or commercial management. * Proven experience working on dam projects, particularly dam operations, maintenance, rehabilitation or improvement works. * Practical knowledge of engineering and construction contracts, preferably including FIDIC conditions of contract. * Experience reviewing variations, claims, payment applications and extensions of time. * Familiarity with the technical and commercial requirements of dam and water\-infrastructure assets. * Strong contractual reporting, documentation and correspondence skills. * Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage. * Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is preferred where applicable.
