**The project:** This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through a hands\-on construction management approach, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and subcontract packages. Mace is seeking an experienced senior construction manager to support the delivery of a major roads, utilities, infrastructure projects. Working within a PMC environment, the successful candidate will provide hands\-on construction leadership across a complex portfolio of roads, utilities, and enabling infrastructure works. This is a site\-based role requiring a proactive individual who can drive contractor performance, manage stakeholder interfaces, and ensure the successful delivery of works to programme, quality, and safety objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a practical, delivery\-focused approach and be comfortable operating in a fast\-paced project environment. **You’ll be responsible for:** * Manage and oversee the construction delivery of roads, utilities, and infrastructure works on site. • Monitor contractor performance to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans. • Drive construction progress and proactively resolve site challenges and delivery risks. • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and contractual requirements. • Review and monitor construction methodologies, sequencing plans, and temporary works proposals. • Provide visible leadership across site teams, contractors, and key project stakeholders. • Coordinate activities between contractors, consultants, authorities and client representatives. • Manage interfaces between multiple work fronts and infrastructure packages to minimise disruption and delays. • Supervise site inspections, coordination meetings and progress reviews to drive performance. • Monitor construction progress against approved schedules and develop mitigation measures where required. • Support recovery strategies and corrective actions to maintain programme objectives. • Champion a strong health, safety and wellbeing culture across all construction activities. • Conduct site audits and inspections to monitor HSE and quality compliance and ensure timely close\-out of actions. • Review contractor variations, claims and change requests, providing recommendations where necessary. • Monitor productivity, resource deployment and overall contractor performance, contributing to project reporting and governance requirements. **You’ll need to have:** * A degree in civil engineering or a related discipline. • Extensive years of experience within major construction and infrastructure projects. • Proven experience delivering roads, highways, and utility infrastructure works. • Strong contractor management and site supervision experience. • Previous experience working within a PMC, consultant, or client\-side environment. • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project controls. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Experience working on large\-scale infrastructure programmes in the Middle East. • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high\-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval. **Our values** **Safety first \- Going home safe and well:** We champion a safe, diverse, and inclusive working environment, understanding the importance of well\-being in every team. **Client focus \- Deliver on our promise:** We own the quality of deliverables and strategic outcomes and build long\-term relationships with our clients. **Integrity \- Always do the right thing:** We influence positive outcomes within our industry while always aligning with our compliance obligations. **Create opportunity \- For our people to excel:** We champion a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities, inspiring our people and teams to develop.
