Senior Chartering Executive (Dry Bulk)

About the Role We are seeking a commercially driven Senior Chartering Executive to support the growth of a Dry Bulk shipping business. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying chartering opportunities, negotiating contracts, developing client relationships, and maximizing fleet utilization and profitability. Key Responsibilities Identify and secure chartering opportunities for Dry Bulk vessels. Negotiate voyage and time charter agreements. Develop and maintain relationships with charterers, brokers, traders, and shipowners. Monitor freight markets and provide commercial intelligence and market insights. Manage fixture negotiations and post-fixture follow-up activities. Coordinate closely with operations teams to ensure successful execution of fixtures. Analyze cargo flows, market trends, and competitor activity. Support business development initiatives and commercial growth strategies. Prepare commercial reports and market updates for management. Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience in Dry Bulk chartering and/or Dry Bulk operations. • Minimum 5 years of maritime/shipping industry experience. • Strong understanding of charter parties, freight markets, and vessel operations. • Established industry network is highly desirable. • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment. • Fluent English
