SENIOR CARPENTER

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced **Senior Carpenter** to join our joinery and furniture production team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate must have excellent hands\-on experience in **woodworking, custom joinery, furniture manufacturing, and detailed carpentry works**, with the ability to execute high\-quality work based on drawings and design details. **Key Responsibilities:** * Execute high\-quality carpentry, joinery, and custom furniture works. * Manufacture and assemble **custom furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, wall cladding, doors, decorative joinery, and other interior elements**. * Read and accurately execute work based on **shop drawings, technical drawings, dimensions, and joinery details**. * Carry out detailed woodwork, including cutting, shaping, routing, assembling, fitting, and finishing preparation. * Ensure accurate measurements, joints, alignment, and finishing quality. * Work with different types of **wood, MDF, plywood, veneer, laminate, solid wood, and decorative materials**. * Have strong knowledge of different woodworking joints, fixing methods, hardware, and furniture construction techniques. * Operate carpentry machinery and power tools safely and professionally. * Coordinate with the Carpentry Manager and production team to complete work according to project schedules. * Assist junior carpenters when required and maintain high workmanship standards within the team. * Carry out modifications and technical solutions when required during production or installation. * Ensure minimum material wastage and proper handling of materials. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment. **Requirements:** * Minimum **8 years of professional experience in carpentry and woodworking**. * Strong experience in **joinery and custom furniture manufacturing**. * Excellent knowledge of **wood detailing and furniture construction**. * Must be able to read and understand **shop drawings and detailed joinery drawings**. * Strong knowledge of different wood\-based materials, veneers, laminates, hardware, adhesives, and fixing methods. * Experienced in using **carpentry machinery, hand tools, and power tools**. * Ability to execute complicated and detailed custom joinery with a high level of accuracy. * Strong attention to detail and finishing quality. * Experience in **luxury interior fit\-out and high\-end furniture projects** is preferred. * UAE experience is an advantage. We are looking for a **highly skilled craftsman**, not just a general carpenter. The candidate should be capable of independently executing detailed and high\-quality joinery and furniture works from drawings through final assembly.
