Job description
• Lead and manage Audit, VAT, Corporate Tax, and Accounting assignments.
• Review financial statements, audit working papers, and tax computations.
• Supervise junior team members and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to junior staff.
• Handle client escalations professionally and provide effective resolutions.
• Plan and manage client visit schedules and coordinate with the team.
• Review VAT returns, Corporate Tax filings, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure adherence to UAE regulations (FTA, MOE, IFRS).
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper internal controls.
• Maintain strong client relationships and manage communication.
• Prepare and review reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer).
• Finalize accounts and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure all submissions are completed on time.
• Support management in planning and executing audit strategies.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation and record‑keeping for all assignments.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
Skills
• Strong knowledge of Audit, VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS
• Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounts finalization
• Ability to lead, supervise, and train junior team members
• Strong client‑handling and communication skills
• Good command over audit documentation and compliance procedures
• Ability to manage escalations professionally
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Good time‑management and ability to handle multiple assignments
• Proficiency in ERP and accounting software (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, etc.)
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism
Experience
• 3–6 years of experience in Audit, Tax, and Accounting
• UAE experience preferred (not mandatory)
• Experience in reviewing junior staff work
• Experience in client visits, coordination, and reporting
• Experience in preparing VAT returns, CT filings, and audit working papers
• Experience in managing deadlines and compliance submissions
Qualification
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• Professional qualifications preferred: CA, Semi‑CA, ACCA, CMA, MBA (Finance)
• Strong understanding of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations
