Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable oversees the full\-cycle accounts payable function, manages high\-volume vendor transactions, ensures accurate general ledger postings, and leads reconciliation and month\-end close activities for AP. This role also mentors junior accounting staff and enforces internal controls. Responsibilities * Manage full\-cycle accounting, including AP, reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments. * Lead month\-end and year\-end closing activities and prepare financial reports and variance analyses. * Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with company policies. * Prepare and review balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations. * Analyze expenses, revenues, and financial performance and provide management with insights. * Prepare forecasts, budgets, and financial projections. * Manage vendor accounts and resolve complex billing and payment discrepancies. * Coordinate annual audits, prepare supporting schedules, and assist with financial statements and audit queries. * Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and compliance issues. * Review and support the work of junior accountants and maintain accurate accounting records. Qualifications * 5\-6 years of professional accounting experience * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience * CMA and ACCA preferred * Strong financial analysis skills. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Strong organizational and stress management skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
