Senior Accountant **Location:** Doha, Qatar **Experience:** Minimum 5 years **Employment Type:** Full\-time Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented **Senior Accountant** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support management in financial decision\-making. Key Responsibilities * Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records. * Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial transactions. * Prepare financial reports and provide insights to management. * Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and Qatar's financial regulations. * Coordinate with auditors and assist in internal and external audits. * Review invoices, payments, and expense reports for accuracy. * Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum **5 years of relevant accounting experience**, preferably in a senior accounting role. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving skills. * High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. * Excellent communication skills.
