Job description

The role ensures that documents submitted by consultants, developers, and internal teams are properly registered, reviewed, approved, archived, and retrievable in accordance with AD Ports document control procedures. Core Responsibilities: Manage document control systems for all planning, architectural, engineering, and authority-related submissions. Ensure all documents are registered, tracked, issued, and archived in line with AD Ports standards. Maintain structured filing systems for digital and hardcopy records. Monitor document workflows, review cycles, and approval status. Ensure document numbering, revision control, and version tracking are consistently applied. Coordinate issuance of documents to internal teams, consultants, and authorities. Support authority submissions by managing document packages and records. Prepare document registers and reports on submission and approval status. Audit document completeness, accuracy, and traceability. Train project and consultant teams on document control processes. Ensure secure handling of confidential information. Maintain compliance with retention and record management policies. Proficient in document control systems and MS Office Suite. Ability to manage large volumes of technical documentation. Understanding of document lifecycle management. Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to enforce standard document processes. Conduct orientation to consultants to submit effectively. Train and evulate reportees reporting to himher. Monitor submission flows and address missing or incorrect documentation. Master s Degree or equivalent preferred Written and Spoken English is essential, Arabic is preferred Minimum 12 years of experience in managing engineering master planning, architectural and authority-related documents with multi discipline approach. Min. 5 years of local experience.
