**Science Teacher (Applied Curriculum)**

Job Overview:
Athar Academy is seeking a qualified and dynamic **Science Teacher** to deliver the **Applied Curriculum** in an engaging and practical way. The ideal candidate will focus on developing students’ scientific understanding through hands\-on learning, real\-life applications, and interactive teaching strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach science subjects (General Science / Biology / Chemistry / Physics) based on the **Applied Curriculum**
* Design and deliver **hands\-on experiments** and practical activities
* Simplify scientific concepts using real\-life examples
* Prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
* Assess student performance through tests, projects, and observations
* Use interactive teaching methods and educational technology
* Manage the classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues and participate in academic planning
* Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in **Science** or a related field (Education degree is a plus)
* Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience
* Experience with **Applied Curriculum** (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of science subjects and teaching methodologies
* Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
Skills:
* Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way
* Strong classroom management skills
* Creativity in designing experiments and activities
* Use of modern teaching tools and technology
* Ability to engage and motivate students
Pay: AED3,500\.00 \- AED5,000\.00 per month
Work Location: In person
