Amourion is **looking for qualified professionals and subject\-matter experts** for the following roles to join our team and deliver high\-quality, **personalised and results\-oriented academic and counselling services** to students. * Math \& Physics Teacher – 3 * Chemistry \& Biology Teacher – 3 * Economics \& Business Teacher – 3 * English Language \& Literature Teacher – 3 * Career Counsellor \- 2 **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Deliver high\-quality **one\-to\-one and small\-group Physics lessons**. * Teach **IB DP Physics, IB MYP Physics, IGCSE/GCSE Physics and AS/A Level Physics**, as per expertise. * Conduct assessments to identify **conceptual gaps, learning needs and examination weaknesses**. * Prepare personalised **lesson plans, revision programmes, worksheets, assessments and past\-paper practice**. * Prepare students for **school assessments, mock examinations and final board examinations**. * Explain complex **theoretical and practical Physics concepts** using clear, student\-friendly methods. * Develop students' **problem\-solving, analytical, mathematical and examination skills**. * Cover **experimental design, practical skills, uncertainty, data analysis and examination techniques**. * Mark assessments using relevant **syllabus requirements, mark schemes and assessment objectives**. * Provide regular **feedback, corrections, improvement targets and progress reports**. * Track attendance, homework, assessments and overall academic performance. * Communicate professionally with **students, parents and academic management**. * Stay updated with **syllabus changes, assessment structures, examiner reports and grade requirements**. * Maintain high standards of **professionalism, punctuality, confidentiality, safeguarding and academic integrity**. **REQUIREMENTS** * Proven teaching/tutoring experience in **IB and/or IGCSE Physics**. * Strong knowledge of **IB DP/MYP, Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS/A Level Physics**. * Strong understanding of **syllabus, assessment objectives, mark schemes and examination requirements**. * Demonstrated ability to improve **student grades, confidence and examination performance**. * Ability to teach **one\-to\-one and small\-group classes**. * Must be available to work **full\-time and in person in Dubai**. **CAREER COUNSELLING \& UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS** * Conduct **personalised career counselling** sessions with students and parents. * **Assess students' interests**, strengths, academic performance, personality and career aspirations. * Guide students on suitable **career pathways, university majors, courses and subject selections.** * Develop personalised career, **profile\-building and university application roadmaps**. * Research and **shortlist universities based on academic profile**, career goals, preferred country, budget and admission probability. * Guide students for **universities across the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, Singapore, UAE and other destinations**. * Provide guidance on **Common Application, UCAS and university\-specific applications**. * Advise students on **SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL, AP, LNAT, UCAT** and other relevant admission requirements. * Support students with **personal statements, college essays, CVs**, activity lists, applications and university interviews. * Guide students on **extracurricular activities, internships, competitions, research, volunteering and leadership opportunities** for profile building. * Monitor application, scholarship, testing and university deadlines and ensure timely completion. * Assist students in **evaluating university offers, scholarships and final admission decisions**. * **Maintain accurate and confidential student records** and communicate regularly with students and parents. * Conduct career seminars, parent workshops, webinars and university\-admissions presentations when required. **WHAT WE VALUE** Teachers: We are looking for a tutor who is student\-focused, academically strong, patient, professional, organised and results\-oriented, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents while delivering measurable academic improvement.
