Sales Manager – Café / Bakery We are looking for a **highly ambitious, commercially minded, and hands\-on Sales Manager who aims to earn high commission and not just content with salary** . The successful candidate must be target\-driven and comfortable working towards sales objectives, as remuneration consists of a **basic salary plus commission**. **This role is ideal for someone with practical experience as a Barista, Pastry Chef, or within the café or bakery** who combines a passion for food with strong sales ability, creativity, leadership, and a genuine drive to grow a business profitably. Key Responsibilities * **Sales Growth:** Develop and implement a weekly action plan every Sunday, outlining daily activities aligned with company objectives and focused on increasing sales, attracting customers, and generating new business opportunities. * **Operations Management and compliance:** Oversee daily café operations and ensure the business is compliant with industry standards and runs efficiently, including working independently and confidently managing the business alone when required. * **Profitability \& Cost Control:** Maximise the use of existing resources, equipment, stock, and staff before proposing additional expenditure. Focus on increasing revenue, controlling costs, minimising waste, and achieving healthy profit margins rather than spending money without a clear commercial return. * **Inventory Management:** Maintain effective stock control, monitor inventory, and minimise unnecessary waste. * **Events \& Community Engagement:** Organise and run weekly events and activities that encourage community engagement, increase footfall, and generate sales. * **Menu Development:** Research food and beverage trends and introduce creative, commercially viable menu ideas that appeal to customers. * **Social Media Management:** Manage the business's social media presence, particularly Instagram, to increase brand awareness, promote products, and drive sales. * **Customer \& Team Engagement:** Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, staff, and the wider community. Be confident in handling people, communicating ideas, and speaking publicly when required. * **Performance Management:** Monitor sales performance, work towards agreed targets, meet deadlines, and take initiative to improve results. The Ideal Candidate * Highly ambitious, proactive, flexible, and results\-oriented. * Fluent in **both Arabic and English**. * Experienced in sales, preferably within the café, bakery, food, hospitality, or retail industry. * Hands\-on experience as a Barista, Pastry Chef, or in a similar role is highly desirable. * Commercially aware, with a strong understanding of sales, costs, profit margins, and return on investment. * Resourceful and practical, able to achieve results by making the best possible use of available resources. * Confident working independently, taking responsibility, and making sound decisions when required. * Adaptable and willing to take on different responsibilities according to the needs of the business. * Creative and knowledgeable about food trends, customer preferences, and social media marketing. * An excellent communicator with strong people\-management skills and confidence in public\-facing situations. * Comfortable working under pressure, managing competing priorities, and meeting challenging targets.
