Safety Officer

WE'RE HIRING Safety UUCI is looking for a proactive and experienced **Safety Officer** to join our team. Key Responsibilities * Implement and monitor the company's **HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs**. * Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits. * Identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions. * Ensure compliance with applicable **HSE regulations and international safety standards**. * Monitor safe working practices, PPE compliance, and workplace safety requirements. * Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare detailed reports. * Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety awareness training. * Coordinate emergency preparedness and evacuation drills. * Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation. * Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and HR teams to continuously improve the company's safety culture. * Promote a proactive **Safety\-First Culture** across the organization. Requirements * Bachelor's degree or Diploma in **Occupational Health \& Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering**, or a related field. * **NEBOSH IGC / IOSH** or equivalent HSE qualification is preferred. * Minimum **2–5 years of relevant experience**, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Strong knowledge of **HSE regulations** and workplace safety practices. * Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, emergency response, and safety inspections. * Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and engage effectively with employees at all levels. * Experience in the **manufacturing or packaging industry** will be an advantage.
