Safety Officer (Oil &Gas) for 3 months extendable contract, Qatar

HSE Officer – Job Description Contract Duration: 3 months, extendable **Job Purpose:** Ensure safe execution of E\&I activities by monitoring site operations, conducting HSE inspections, and ensuring compliance with client and Qatar Tec HSE requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct daily Toolbox Talks and site HSE inspections. * Monitor E\&I activities, PTW compliance, work at height, 5S, and dropped\-object prevention. * Identify and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and at\-risk behaviors. * Participate in client walkthroughs, safety meetings, TSF inspections, and contractor forums. * Conduct weekly and monthly HSE inspections and follow up on corrective actions. * Inspect PPE, tools, fire extinguishers, first\-aid boxes, smoke detectors, and vehicles. * Maintain HSE checklists, training records, and training matrix. * Monitor leading and lagging HSE KPIs and prepare monthly HSE reports. * Support incident investigations and corrective/preventive actions. * Ensure compliance with PTW, JSA/JHA, LOTO, work\-at\-height, and SIMOPS requirements. **Qualification \& Experience:** * Diploma/Degree in HSE or Engineering. * NEBOSH IGC or equivalent preferred. * Minimum 5 years’ HSE experience in Oil \& Gas/E\&I maintenance or shutdown projects. * Good knowledge of site HSE requirements, inspections, PTW, and risk assessment.
