Safety Officer

* Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations, project specifications, and client requirements * Implement and enforce the Project HSE Plan on site * Conduct daily site safety inspections and report unsafe acts/conditions * Review and monitor Method Statements, prepare Risk Assessments, and JSA * Ensure safe practices for work at height, lifting operations, excavation, scaffolding, and electrical works * Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training * Monitor and enforce correct use of PPE * Issue and control Permit to Work (PTW) systems * Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions * Coordinate and meet with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and client safety teams * Maintain HSE records, registers, and safety documentation * Stop unsafe work and recommend corrective actions when required Minimum Qualification * Diploma or degree is preferred * NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA * Valid First Aid and Work at Height certificates * Minimum 2–3 years construction site experience * Knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards Job Types: Full\-time, Contract Pay: BD500\.000 \- BD550\.000 per month Work Location: In person
