Safety Engineer

• Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with HSE requirements. • Conduct regular safety inspections and report unsafe acts or conditions. • Support the preparation of risk assessments and permit-to-work procedures. • Prepare and deliver toolbox talks before starting work or specific activities. • Verify the correct use of PPE by all site personnel. • Monitor housekeeping and general site safety practices. • Report incidents, near misses, and safety observations. • Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure. • Maintain safety records, registers, and basic HSE reports. • Coordinate with supervisors, workers, and project teams on safety matters. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. • Basic experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or project-site safety. • Basic knowledge of HSE procedures, risk assessments, PPE, and permit-to-work systems. • Ability to conduct site inspections and toolbox talks. • Ability to prepare simple safety reports and maintain records. • Good communication and coordination skills. • Basic English language skills. • Willingness to work at project sites and follow Company and client instructions. • Saudi Council of Engineers membership, where applicable. Preferred Qualifications • NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or similar safety certification is preferred. • Previous experience on SEC, utility, telecom, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
