An opportunity has arisen for Room Care Technician Engineering to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar . The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Understand guestroom-related issues, take the necessary equipment and assess and fix problems efficiently. Perform maintenance tasks in rooms, including electrical, furniture, and basic repair jobs. Handle guests and team inquiries professionally and resolve room care complaints promptly. Complete assigned work orders, room inspections, and document all tasks performed. Choose the correct tools and parts from stores and maintain accurate usage logs. Report observed room damages to supervisors and recommended appropriate solutions. The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 1 2 years of experience in the same role with a luxury 5-star property. Secondary education required; vocational certification and trade qualification preferred. Strong technical skills in trade, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems. Proficient in English, able to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.
