Job description

We are seeking Rig Electricians for deep drilling onshore rigs for our client in Kuwait. Key Responsibilities: Install new electrical equipment and systems as required, ensuring that installations are done in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations. Run electrical wiring and conduit, install circuit breakers, panels, and other electrical infrastructure as needed. Test new installations to ensure proper operation and safety. Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and develop preventative maintenance plans. Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly. Maintain accurate records of electrical work and inspections. Comply with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the team. Respond to electrical emergencies, such as power outages or equipment failures, and take appropriate action to restore power and ensure safety. Participate in emergency drills and ensure readiness to address electrical issues in emergency situations. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements. Maintain an adequate supply of parts for emergency repairs. Monitor the operational performance of the Company's equipment. Identify areas for improvement. • High school diploma or equivalent and additional relevant electrical certifications or licenses. • Experience of 3+years as an Electrician in deep drilling land rigs is required. • Candidates from Canada, United States, Europe, Eastern Europe, Australia, China are preferred. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment used in industrial or oil and gas settings. • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues. • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams. • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
