**Assistant Manager – Retail Position FEMALE** **Job Title:** Assistant Manager – Retail **Department:** Retail Operations **Reports To:** Store Manager / Store Manager – Retail Operations **Location:** Qatar **Band:** As per company structure Job Purpose To support the Store Manager in managing the overall store operations and achieving business targets through effective sales management, customer service, people management, visual merchandising, inventory control, and operational excellence. The Assistant Manager will act as the Store Manager's key support and take full responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence. Key Responsibilities1\. Sales \& Business Performance * Support the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding store sales and profitability targets. * Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement. * Drive key retail KPIs including conversion, ATV, UPT, productivity, and customer satisfaction. * Analyse sales trends and take corrective actions to improve business performance. * Ensure effective implementation of promotions, campaigns, launches, and commercial initiatives. * Motivate the team to maximise sales opportunities and achieve individual and store targets. 2\. Team Management \& People Development * Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of store employees. * Allocate daily responsibilities and ensure adequate manpower deployment based on business requirements. * Conduct regular team briefings and communicate business priorities and targets. * Coach team members on selling skills, product knowledge, customer service, and performance. * Monitor individual performance and provide timely feedback and coaching. * Identify high performers and potential talent for career development. * Address employee concerns and disciplinary matters in line with company policies and HR guidelines.
