Resort General Manager **Company:** Pangkor Holiday Resort **Location:** Arabian Gulf Street, Kuwait City, Al Asimah, Kuwait **Salary:** **KWD 2,200 per month** Job Summary Pangkor Holiday Resort is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and guest\-focused **Resort General Manager** to oversee the overall operations of our resort in Kuwait City. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all operational departments, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, driving financial performance, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service excellence. This executive leadership role requires outstanding business acumen, operational expertise, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all aspects of daily resort operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, recreation, security, and guest services. * Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence. * Lead, mentor, and motivate department managers and employees to foster a high\-performance culture. * Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives to maximize profitability. * Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining luxury hospitality standards and promptly resolving guest concerns. * Develop and implement marketing, sales, and promotional strategies in collaboration with commercial teams. * Ensure compliance with Kuwait labor laws, health and safety regulations, and hospitality industry standards. * Oversee recruitment, employee development, succession planning, and performance management. * Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, travel partners, suppliers, and local business stakeholders. * Monitor operational KPIs and prepare comprehensive performance reports for executive leadership. * Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, guest engagement, and overall resort performance. * Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and exceptional customer service. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree is an advantage. * Minimum of 8 years of progressive hospitality management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or general management role. * Proven experience managing resort, hotel, or luxury hospitality operations. * Strong knowledge of hotel financial management, revenue management, budgeting, guest services, and operational planning. * Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS), hospitality software, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and decision\-making skills. * Ability to manage multiple departments in a fast\-paced hospitality environment.
