Responsibilities Our newest opportunity is for a talented Resident Engineer to join our team based in RAK, UAE. We envisage success in this role to include; Manage and supervise all on-site infrastructure construction activities. Lead the site supervision team, including inspectors and discipline engineers. Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, health and safety requirements, and contract obligations. Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, and work inspections. Coordinate with the client, contractor, authorities, and other project stakeholders. Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and site-related challenges. Monitor project progress and report on schedule, quality, and commercial matters. Review contractor progress claims and variations where required. Chair and attend site meetings and prepare progress reports. Ensure all works comply with local authority regulations and project requirements. Qualifications To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 15 years of overall experience in infrastructure engineering and construction supervision. At least 5 years of experience as a Resident Engineer on major infrastructure projects in the UAE. Proven experience delivering roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, and associated infrastructure works. Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and construction supervision procedures. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with consultants on large-scale infrastructure developments. UAE driving licence is preferred.
