This is a senior technical role requiring extensive expertise in formation evaluation, reservoir characterization, and subsurface data integration to support reservoir development and optimization studies. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Lead petrophysical evaluations to support field development and reservoir characterization studies. * Interpret and integrate well log, core and reservoir data, including electrofacies classification, porosity, permeability, shale volume and water saturation analysis. * Develop saturation height models, assess secondary porosity and fracture impacts, and evaluate reservoir quality across carbonate and clastic reservoirs. * Build and improve petrophysical interpretation workflows using Techlog, including Python scripting where required. * Perform quality control, uncertainty analysis and prepare technical reports with recommendations for future data acquisition and reservoir development. * 20\+ years’ experience in reservoir petrophysics within the oil and gas industry. * Extensive experience with carbonate and clastic reservoirs. * Strong proficiency in **Techlog**, **Petrel**, **Python**, Microsoft Excel and other subsurface interpretation software. * Proven experience in formation evaluation, reservoir characterization and integrated subsurface studies. * Excellent analytical, communication and technical reporting skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. ### **Benefit of Working with Visuna?** * A dedicated member of the team responsible for your placements and welfare * Some of the best day rates in the industry * FREE worldwide insurance and Medevac cover whist on a Placement * 24/7 access to our specialist support team * Assistance and advice on a range of business topics * FREE access to our Competency Scheme * Increased exposure to potential clients and more placement opportunities
