Roles & responsibilities
• Supervision & Execution
Supervise and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works on-site.
Ensure all installations are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Monitor daily site progress and report to the Project / Site Engineer.
Assign work to technicians and ensure proper workmanship and timely completion.
• Coordination
Coordinate between civil, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting teams to avoid conflicts.
Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Assist in scheduling materials, manpower, and equipment requirements.
• Quality & Safety
Ensure quality control of all MEP works.
Enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards at the site.
Conduct inspections before consultant/client approval.
Identify and resolve technical or safety issues immediately.
• Testing & Commissioning
Supervise and support testing, commissioning, and handover activities for MEP systems.
Verify system performance meets design intent and specifications.
• Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily site reports (progress, manpower, materials).
Assist in preparing inspection requests (IRs), material inspection reports (MIRs), and as-built drawings.
Keep records of maintenance and service activities if in a facilities role.
• Maintenance (if applicable)
Supervise routine and preventive maintenance of MEP systems.
Troubleshoot and repair issues in electrical panels, plumbing networks, and HVAC units.
Ensure minimal downtime and efficient energy use.
• Leadership
Guide and motivate site technicians and helpers.
Train new staff on site procedures and safety practices.
Act as a link between management and site teams.
Desired candidate profile
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of UAE/GCC experience in MEP construction, fit-out, or maintenance projects, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role .
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting installations.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Experience in coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Good understanding of testing, commissioning, quality control, and HSE requirements.
• Proficient in preparing site reports, inspection requests (IRs), material inspection requests (MIRs), and maintaining project documentation.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Good communication skills in English; Hindi/Arabic is an added advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
