Job description

• Manage accounts payable and receivable specifically for freight, warehousing, and transportation services, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. • Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts related to inventory, fixed assets, and accrued expenses within the logistics supply chain. • Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to logistics operations and cost control. • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations in the transportation sector. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable institution. • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years specifically within the logistics or supply chain industry. • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is highly preferred, demonstrating advanced accounting knowledge. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling.
