Repair and Maintenance Technician - LWD I (UAE National)

**Job Overview** As an R\&M Technician \- LWD I, you will support the repair, maintenance, assembly, testing, and calibration of Logging While Drilling (LWD) tools and equipment. This is an entry\-level opportunity ideal for fresh graduates or early\-career professionals looking to build technical expertise in drilling technologies. The role requires a hands\-on approach, attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. **Responsibilities** * Perform Level I repairs, inspections, and function testing on LWD downhole tools and equipment, including drivers, pulsers, batteries, gamma tools, BAPs, IDSs, interconnects, flow diverters, MFRs, NDTs, and collars. * Perform gamma verifications and calibrations, IDS check stand roll tests, neutron density calibrations, and MFR air hangs. * Assemble and disassemble LWD tool strings and perform tool programming and function testing. * Conduct pulser wet tests, main valve replacements, and tip/orifice replacements. * Assemble and disassemble lithium batteries. * Complete service records, maintenance documentation, and ensure accurate electronic and hard\-copy filing. * Support failure analysis activities and update records within reliability databases, including completion of work orders and technical reports. * Assist team members and support workshop operations as required. * Mentor trainees when requested and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. * Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean, safe, and operational condition. * Follow all quality, health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures and policies.
