Receivable Accountant | General Accountant

Job Title: Receivable Accountant \| General Accountant Location: Muscat, Oman Job Summary: We are hiring an experienced Receivable Accountant with strong background in collections, aging analysis, and customer account reconciliation. The role also includes supporting general accounting activities in a fast\-paced rental/leasing environment. Key Responsibilities: \- Manage accounts receivable \& collections \- Monitor aging reports, especially overdue balances \- Follow up with clients to ensure timely payments \- Allocate and resolve unapplied / unallocated payments \- Reconcile customer accounts (SOA) and resolve discrepancies \- Coordinate with sales \& operations on disputes and billing issues \- Ensure credit limits and payment terms are properly applied \- Prepare collection reports and highlight high\-risk accounts \- Support month\-end closing \& general accounting entries Requirements: \- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance \- 2–4\+ years experience in Accounts Receivable / Collections \- Strong experience in credit control \& aging analysis \- Hands\-on experience managing large receivable portfolios \- Strong Microsoft Office skills (advanced Excel – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, reporting) \- Experience using ERP systems integrated with Excel reporting \- Ability to handle high\-volume transactions and work under pressure \- Good communication, follow\-up, and problem\-solving skills \- Experience in rental / leasing / automotive industry (preferred) Work Location: In person
