Quantity Surveyor

**Job Overview** We are looking for an experienced **Quantity Surveyor** to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in **post\-contract quantity surveying, interim payment applications, variations, claims, cost control, contract administration and commercial management**. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare and submit **Interim Payment Applications (IPA)** and progress payment applications. * Prepare monthly valuations and monitor project quantities and work progress. * Review **BOQs, contracts, drawings, specifications and scope of work**. * Measure and evaluate completed works for payment purposes. * Prepare and evaluate **Variations, Change Orders and additional works**. * Prepare, review and support **Extension of Time (EOT) and contractual claims**. * Maintain accurate records of project costs, quantities, variations and payments. * Coordinate with project, site, planning and commercial teams to verify completed works. * Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on commercial matters. * Assist in **contract administration and commercial negotiations**. * Review subcontractor and supplier payment applications. * Monitor project costs against budgets and contractual requirements. * Prepare **final accounts** and support project close\-out activities. * Identify commercial risks and assist in resolving contractual and payment issues. * Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and contractual requirements. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in **Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management** or a related field. * Minimum **4 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience**. * UAE experience is preferred. * Strong experience in **Interim Payment Applications, Variations, Claims and Final Accounts**. * Good understanding of contracts, BOQs, measurements and project commercial procedures. * Experience working with consultants, clients, contractors or subcontractors. * Strong knowledge of **MS Excel and quantity surveying/commercial documentation**. * Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills. * Candidates must be **currently available in the UAE**. **Preferred Industry Experience** Candidates from the following backgrounds are welcome to apply: **Steel Fabrication \| Structural Steel \| Aluminium \| Façade \| Glazing \| Construction \| EPC \| Fit\-Out \| GRC \| GRP \| Metal Works \| Cladding \| PEB \| Engineering Projects** What We Are Looking For We are seeking a commercially strong Quantity Surveyor who can independently manage **project valuations, payment applications, variations, claims and commercial documentation** while coordinating effectively with project and management teams.
