QUANTITY SURVEYOR (INTERIOR FIT-OUT)

**Location:** Dubai, UAE **Industry:** Interior Fit\-Out **Employment Type:** Full\-time **Experience Required:** 2–3 Years (Dubai/UAE Fit\-Out Experience Mandatory) We are seeking a detail\-oriented, energetic, and commercially minded **Quantity Surveyor** with **2 to 3 years of UAE interior fit\-out experience**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end\-to\-end commercial management of fit\-out projects, including quantity take\-offs, BOQ generation, subcontractor evaluations, variation management, and final accounting. Experience in **retail shop fit\-outs** is highly advantageous. **Key Responsibilities** * **BOQ \& Cost Estimation:** Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and comprehensive cost estimates based on tender drawings, design specifications, and client requirements. * **Drawing \& Specification Review:** Review architectural, joinery, and MEP drawings to identify scope gaps, specification mismatches, or cost optimization opportunities. * **Quantity Take\-Offs:** Perform precise quantity take\-offs across all interior fit\-out trades (joinery, MEP, ceiling, flooring, partitions, glass, and wall finishes). * **Subcontractor Evaluation:** Source, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes; conduct commercial discussions and negotiate optimum terms. * **Cost Control \& Budgeting:** Monitor live project budgets, track material/labor expenditure, and prepare monthly cost\-to\-complete reports. * **Variations \& Final Accounts:** Measure, price, and submit variation orders; negotiate claims with clients/consultants and settle final project accounts. * **Team Coordination:** Liaise seamlessly with Project Managers, Site Engineers, procurement teams, suppliers, and client representatives. * **Tendering \& Contract Administration:** Assist in pre\-contract and post\-contract administration, tender documentation, and formal commercial correspondence. **Required Qualifications \& Preferred Skills** * **Experience:** 2–3 years of hands\-on Quantity Surveying experience in the **Dubai/UAE interior fit\-out sector** (Mandatory). * **Project Expertise:** Background in **retail shop fit\-out projects** is strongly preferred. * **Technical Knowledge:** Thorough understanding of UAE construction standards, local market rates, and interior fit\-out materials/processes. * **Software Skills:** Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** (cost tracking templates, measurement sheets, formulas) and estimation tools. * **Soft Skills:** Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, strong negotiation tactics, and effective interpersonal abilities. * **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree / Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Surveying, or a related discipline. Pay: AED100\.00 \- AED2,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
