Job description: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to ensure that all water processing, bottling, and packaging operations meet the company’s high-quality standards and comply with regulatory guidelines. The QC Officer plays a vital role in maintaining product safety, hygiene, and consistency. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Water Quality Testing: • Conduct routine microbiological and chemical testing of raw and treated water. • Monitor and record water quality parameters such as pH, TDS, turbidity, chlorine levels, and ozone levels. • Production Line Monitoring: • Inspect washing, filling, and capping processes to ensure hygienic operations. • Check cleanliness and sanitation of bottles, caps, and machines. • Hygiene and Compliance: • Ensure the facility, staff, and equipment follow hygiene and safety protocols. • Oversee personal hygiene practices of staff inside the production area. • Documentation & Reporting: • Maintain daily QC logs and inspection records. • Report any non-conformities or deviations from standards to management. • Preventive Action: • Identify potential contamination risks and recommend corrective measures. • Ensure corrective actions are implemented and monitored. • Regulatory Compliance: • Ensure the production process complies with UAE municipal and food safety authority standards. • Support external audits and inspections. Requirements: • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Technology, or a related field. • Previous experience in water bottling, food & beverage, or manufacturing industry is preferred. • Knowledge of HACCP, ISO standards, and UAE hygiene/safety regulations. • Ability to work in factory conditions and manage multiple tasks. • Attention to detail, strong communication, and problem-solving skills. ⸻ Working Conditions: • 6 days/week (Friday Off) • Based in the factory; may require occasional overtime during inspections or issues. • Must be physically fit to conduct inspections across the plant.
