Quality Control & Hygiene Supervisor

Job Type: Full\-time Industry: Healthy Food / Diet Restaurant / Food \& Beverage Location: Qatar Job Description We are looking for an experienced and certified Quality Control \& Hygiene Supervisor to join our healthy restaurant operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, food safety, portion control, grammage, staff working practices, and operational procedures across our branches. Key Responsibilities \* Monitor daily food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards. \* Ensure all menu items are prepared according to approved recipes, grammage, portion sizes, and presentation standards. \* Regularly check food weighing and portion control to maintain consistency and accurate costing. \* Monitor the quality, freshness, storage, labeling, expiry dates, and handling of food products. \* Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, preparation areas, and service areas. \* Ensure staff follow company SOPs, hygiene procedures, PPE requirements, and food safety practices. \* Monitor staff working conditions and ensure proper and safe working practices. \* Identify operational problems and take corrective action when required. \* Conduct branch quality and hygiene audits and prepare inspection reports. \* Follow up on corrective actions and ensure issues are properly resolved. \* Monitor receiving procedures and ensure quantity and quality of products received match purchase orders and company standards. \* Check temperature controls, cleaning schedules, cross\-contamination prevention, and proper food storage procedures. \* Train and guide staff regarding hygiene, food safety, portion control, and quality standards. \* Work closely with the Operations, Kitchen, HR, and Management teams to continuously improve processes. \* Maintain proper documentation, checklists, audit reports, and quality records. \* Ensure all branches consistently follow company standards and approved processes. Requirements \* Previous experience as a Quality Controller, Quality Supervisor, Hygiene Supervisor, Food Safety Supervisor, QA/QC Supervisor, or similar role in restaurants, catering, central kitchens, or food production. \* Experience in healthy restaurants, diet food, meal preparation, or high\-volume food operations is an advantage. \* Strong knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, HACCP, portion control, recipe compliance, and quality management. \* Experience with food grammage and weighing controls is essential. \* Relevant Food Safety / HACCP / Quality Control certification is required. \* Strong inspection, reporting, communication, and problem\-solving skills. \* Ability to work across multiple restaurant branches and conduct regular audits. \* Strong attention to detail and the ability to enforce company standards. \* Ability to train and guide kitchen and restaurant staff. \* Previous experience in Qatar or GCC food \& beverage operations is preferred.
