QS Engineer

Interior Fit\-Out QS Engineer We are looking for an experienced **Interior Fit\-Out QS Engineer** to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in quantity surveying for interior fit\-out projects, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be available for immediate joining. Key Requirements * Minimum **2 years of UAE experience** as a QS Engineer in interior fit\-out projects. * Strong knowledge of **quantity surveying, estimation, and cost control** for interior fit\-out works. * Excellent **negotiation skills** with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. * **Fluent English communication skills are mandatory**. * **Immediate joining** is preferred. * Candidates on **spouse visa or dependent visa are preferred**. * Strong knowledge of BOQs, quantity take\-offs, material costing, variations, and project costing. * Ability to read and understand architectural, interior, and MEP drawings. * Good knowledge of subcontractor and supplier quotations, comparison statements, and commercial negotiations. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed quantity take\-offs and BOQs for interior fit\-out projects. * Prepare cost estimates and budgets based on project drawings and specifications. * Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents. * Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare quotation comparison sheets and negotiate competitive rates. * Monitor project costs and ensure effective cost control throughout the project. * Prepare and evaluate variations, claims, and additional works. * Coordinate with the project, procurement, and site teams regarding commercial matters. * Maintain accurate records of project costs, payments, variations, and commitments. * Assist with preparation of interim payment applications and final accounts. * Ensure commercial matters are handled efficiently and within project budgets.
