Job Title **QHSE Officer (Quality, Health, Safety \& Environment)** Company **Food City Bahrain** Location **Bahrain** Job Type **Full\-time** **Job Description** Food City Bahrain is looking for a proactive and experienced QHSE Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management systems while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, company standards, and legal requirements. The role involves promoting a strong food safety culture, conducting audits and inspections, and supporting continuous improvement across all operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Implement and maintain the company's QHSE Management System. * Ensure compliance with Bahrain food safety regulations and company policies. * Implement and monitor HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS). * Conduct routine hygiene, food safety, and workplace inspections. * Perform internal audits and support external audits and regulatory inspections. * Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and verify HACCP documentation. * Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). * Investigate customer complaints, food safety incidents, and workplace accidents. * Develop, review, and update SOPs, policies, and QHSE documentation. * Conduct food safety, hygiene, and health \& safety training for employees. * Monitor cleaning, sanitation, and pest control programs. * Maintain QHSE records, reports, and compliance documentation. * Prepare periodic QHSE reports for management review. * Promote a positive food safety and safety culture throughout the organization. * Work closely with production, operations, maintenance, and management teams to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, Occupational Health \& Safety, or a related field. * Master's Degree is an added advantage. * HACCP Certification. * Food Safety Certification. * Knowledge of ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Systems. * Internal Auditor certification is an advantage. Experience * Minimum 3 years of experience in a QHSE, Food Safety, QA/QC, or Quality Assurance role. * Experience in food manufacturing, catering, hospitality, retail food, FMCG, or central kitchen operations. * GCC experience is preferred. * Experience in implementing HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems. * Experience conducting audits, inspections, and compliance monitoring.
