Job description
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards, quality policies, and laboratory procedures.
• Prepare, review, and control quality documentation, including SOPs, quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records.
• Plan and conduct internal audits, identify non-conformities, and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with external auditors and accreditation bodies during ISO/IEC 17025 assessments and surveillance audits.
• Monitor calibration and testing activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and technical requirements.
• Review calibration certificates, quality records, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues and customer complaints.
• Maintain records related to measurement uncertainty, proficiency testing (PT), and inter-laboratory comparison (ILC) programs.
• Ensure proper control and maintenance of laboratory equipment, reference standards, and calibration records.
• Train and guide laboratory personnel on quality procedures, ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, and best practices.
• Monitor quality performance indicators and recommend improvements to enhance laboratory efficiency and compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to company quality objectives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards across calibration and testing services.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, customer, and regulatory requirements at all times.
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering .
• 8–10 years of experience in India or 5+ years in GCC in a calibration/testing laboratory.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 , NABL , quality systems, audits, CAPA, and documentation.
• Experience in calibration laboratories within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Industrial sectors is preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
