Purchase and Contracts Specialist

**Key responsibilities** * Conclude contracts, complete tenders, and ensure all purchases meet the required specifications at competitive prices and on time * Receive and review all contracts and tenders through the automated system * Review and correct the list of qualified contract and tender holders, excluding those who are not qualified * Ensure no duplication in contracts concluded; review payment statements and match them to official statements * Participate in evaluating major requests for concluding contracts and prepare responses for approvals * Verify shipment delivery dates, check purchase orders against received bids, and make the necessary recommendations * Prepare reports on received resources and spare parts, prepare the purchasing and supply timetable, and coordinate with merchants * Review and verify invoices and receipt notices before passing them for payment **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance or a related field * 2\+ years in procurement, tendering or contracts administration * Government or public\-sector tendering experience is a strong advantage * Familiar with e\-tendering systems and purchase\-order workflows * Good communication skills in Arabic and English * CIPS qualification is an advantage * Bahrain\-based candidates preferred; Bahraini nationals prioritised Language: * Arabic (Required) Work Location: In person
