Job description
**I Job Purpose:**
Able to design, develop, test, and supervise installation or maintenance of Protection
Relays (All Type of Numerical Relays) in the electrical field for MV \& HV level up to 400 KV.
**II Principle Accountabilities:**
❖ Testing \& commissioning of Electrical system up to 400 KV.
❖ Testing and commissioning, Configuration of protection relays.
❖ Installation \& commissioning of all type of Control \& protection panels.
❖ Having a good knowledge in control and protection schematic diagram and trouble shooting.
❖ System design and Implementation.
❖ Able to perform Stability test for Transformers, SG and busbars.
❖ Testing and Commissioning of Primary Equipment (CT, PT, Transformer, Disconnector, Circuit Breaker, Earth Switches).
❖ Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and
specifications.
❖ Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to
provide assistance and technical support.
❖ Knowledge about operation \& maintenance of various electrical equipment’s’.

**IV Knowledge Skills and Experience and Job\-Related Competencies:**
**Educational Qualifications \& Experience Profile:**
❖ BE in Electrical Engineering with 5\-10 years’ experience in Electrical Installation, Testing and Commissioning work.
❖ Design, implementation and setting calculation.
❖ Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
❖ Project management, planning and supervision skills.
❖ Decision making ability and leadership skills.
❖ Time management and organization skills.
❖ Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
**Additional Skills:**
❖ Working Experience with any OEM(SIEMENS/ABB/ALSTOM/GE/L\&T/SCHNEIDER) is must.
❖ Experience in EWA Bahrain Substations will be added advantage.
❖ Electrical Engineering licenses (CRPEP) will get additional preference.
**Competencies/Skills/Others:**
❖ Sound knowledge of all technical aspects of Electrical.
❖ Able to read and understand drawings.
❖ Should be able understand technical details and explain to the team.
❖ Solve technical problems.
❖ Sound knowledge on all type electrical equipment i.e. Transformer, breaker, switchgear, substation equipment \& HV/LV equipment.
❖ Good organization ability and good coordination skills.
❖ Sound language proves\- English compulsory and Arabic (preferred).
❖ Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
❖ Integrity \& Loyalty.
❖ Excellent inter\-personal skills.
❖ Leadership skills.
❖ Understanding in International Standards \& specifications.
