Job description
• Project Planning & Execution
· Lead project planning activities including scope, schedule, cost, and resource allocation.
· Develop and monitor the master construction schedule.
· Coordinate structural, architectural, and MEP works.
· Ensure effective sequencing of high-rise activities (foundation, superstructure, façade, MEP, finishing).
• Budget & Cost Control
· Prepare and manage project budgets.
· Monitor cash flow and cost forecasts.
· Review subcontractor payments and variations.
· Control project expenditures and minimize cost overruns.
3. Contract & Commercial Management
· Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
· Manage change orders, claims, and variations.
· Coordinate with consultants and clients on technical approvals.
· Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
4. Site Management & Coordination
· Supervise Site Engineers, Construction Managers, and subcontractors.
· Ensure coordination between:
o Structural works (core walls, slabs, columns)
o MEP installation
o Façade and external works
o Interior finishing
· Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews.
• Quality Assurance & Control
· Ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
· Monitor QA/QC implementation.
· Ensure inspections and testing are completed as required.
· Maintain high construction standards for high-rise structural integrity.
• Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
· Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations.
· Promote a strong safety culture on site.
· Monitor implementation of safety plans and procedures.
• Risk Management
· Identify project risks (technical, financial, schedule-related).
· Develop mitigation plans.
· Monitor critical path activities.
• Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
· Provide weekly and monthly progress reports.
· Communicate with clients, consultants, and senior management.
· Lead progress meetings and coordination meetings.
JOB LOCATION : DUBAI
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
· PMP certification (preferred).
· 8–15 years of experience in construction.
· Minimum 5 years managing mid-rise/high-rise building projects.
· Strong knowledge of structural concrete works, tower cranes, lifting operations, and vertical construction sequencing.
Technical Skills
· Project scheduling (Primavera P6 / MS Project)
· Budget management
· Contract administration
· Risk management
· Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
Leadership Competencies
· Strong decision-making ability
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Team leadership and conflict resolution
· Ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously
