Job Title: Project Manager Organization: Siemens Smart Infrastructure Grid Software Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates About the Role At Siemens, we enable digital transformation across power utilities to drive efficiency, sustainability, and resilience. As a Project Manager RTU & Communications, you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of substation and utility automation projects in the UAE, with a strong focus on RTU systems, communication networks, and DMS/ADMS integration for customers such as TAQA Distribution. The role ensures safe, timely, high quality, and profitable execution in line with PMP and/or Siemens PM@S standards. Key Responsibilities Deliver RTU, communications, and DMS/ADMS integration projects from project kick off through handover and closure including the warranty. Own project P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, margin protection, and cash flow support. Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk, ensuring compliance with contractual and Siemens PM@S requirements. Coordinate RTU integration to DMS/ADMS, including communications readiness, interface dependencies, and site execution. Govern RTU communications activities, including FO, wireless links, and alignment on communication redundancy concepts between RTU and ADMS. Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers, managing procurement activities in line with project needs. Prepare and submit project progress documentation, track claims and variations, and ensure effective project control. Act as the primary interface with TAQA, EPCs, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution. Drive proactive risk and change management to prevent scope creep and protect project margins. Ensure compliance with Quality, EHS, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements applicable to utility OT environments. • Bachelor s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering. • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager • Proven experience as a Project Manager in utility automation, turnkey, or EPC projects (UAE preferred). • Strong hands on understanding of RTU systems and communication media used in power utilities. • TAQA approved Project Manager and TAQA competency preferred. • Experience with substation activities, including testing, interfaces, and operational readiness. • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders (customer, EPC, internal engineering, and site teams). • PMP and/or Siemens PM@S certification preferred. • Excellent communication and coordination skills. • Fluency in English is mandatory.
