**Project Manager / Design Coordinator (Construction \- Design \& Build)** **Location:** Qatar (Candidates must be currently residing in Qatar) **Project Duration:** 18 Months **Employment Type:** Contract **Experience Required:** 20\+ Years **Mandatory Certification:** UPDA Grade A **Industry:** Building Construction / Design \& Build (D\&B) Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced **Project Manager / Design Coordinator** to lead the design and construction delivery of a major building project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Design \& Build (D\&B) projects and demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams from concept design through construction and handover. Mandatory Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. * **Minimum 20 years of overall experience** in construction projects. * **Minimum 7 years of Design \& Build (D\&B) experience in Schools, Colleges, or University projects.** * **UPDA Grade A certification is mandatory.** * Must be **currently available in Qatar** with a valid QID. * Proven experience coordinating between clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders. * Strong knowledge of Qatar construction regulations and approval processes. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage all project design and construction activities. * Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to ensure timely delivery of design packages. * Review and manage consultant drawings, specifications, and technical submissions. * Ensure compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and applicable standards. * Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and resources. * Coordinate with clients, authorities, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. * Monitor design development and construction progress to achieve project milestones. * Lead progress meetings and provide regular reports to project stakeholders. * Resolve design conflicts, technical challenges, and construction issues. * Oversee testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
