Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical data centre projects on behalf of a leading engineering consultancy. The role requires end-to-end project leadership, stakeholder management, authority coordination, contractor oversight, and successful delivery of complex data centre facilities within budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements. Your role Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data centre projects from design through construction, commissioning, and handover. Act as the primary client interface, providing strategic guidance and regular project status updates. Manage multidisciplinary project teams, including design consultants, contractors, and specialist vendors. Oversee project schedules, budgets, resource planning, risk registers, and mitigation strategies. Coordinate with local authorities and obtain necessary approvals and permits. Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Review and monitor contractor performance, construction progress, quality control, and site safety. Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and communicate key project milestones and risks to stakeholders. Manage commissioning activities and ensure operational readiness of mission-critical systems. Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, ICT, and security disciplines throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project risks, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project objectives. Support procurement processes, contract administration, claims management, and change control procedures. Ensure effective stakeholder engagement with clients, authorities, contractors, utility providers, and end users. Drive best practices in project management, governance, reporting, and quality assurance. Mentor junior team members and contribute to business growth through client relationship management and project development initiatives. About you Bachelor's degree in Engineering[ Civil / Electrical. Construction Management or equivalent PMP. Data Center Experience [ at least 1 project is delivered in the last 5 years] Mandatory chartership or equivalent preferred. UPDA/MMUP Grade A in PM. 15 - 20 years Minimum Experience. Leadership of complex building, infrastructure, mission-critical or data centre projects. Qatar delivery, stakeholder coordination; authority interfaces; contractor management; programme, risk, reporting and CLIENT-facing leadership.
