Project Management Engineer

**Job Summary** We are seeking a highly organized and results\-driven **Project Management Engineer** to oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, procurement, fabrication, QA/QC, logistics, commercial, and site teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with client specifications and company standards. **Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management** * Plan, coordinate, and manage project activities from award to final handover. * Ensure projects are executed according to contract requirements, project specifications, and approved schedules. * Develop project execution plans and monitor overall project performance. * Coordinate project resources, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. * Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables. * Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required. * Support Project Managers in achieving project objectives. **Planning \& Scheduling** * Develop and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. * Track engineering, procurement, fabrication, delivery, and site installation progress. * Prepare baseline schedules, recovery plans, and look\-ahead schedules. * Monitor critical path activities and identify project delays. * Coordinate with planning teams to ensure schedule compliance. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. **Engineering Coordination** * Coordinate with Engineering, Design, and Drafting teams to ensure timely release of drawings. * Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical documents before execution. * Ensure engineering deliverables are completed as per project requirements. * Coordinate technical clarifications with clients and consultants. * Manage engineering changes and ensure proper implementation. **Procurement \& Material Coordination** * Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely material purchasing and delivery. * Monitor material approval status and procurement schedules. * Track long\-lead items and critical materials. * Ensure materials are available before fabrication and site activities. * Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding delivery schedules. **Fabrication \& Production Coordination** * Coordinate with workshop and production teams to achieve fabrication targets. * Monitor fabrication, welding, painting, galvanizing, inspection, and dispatch activities. * Ensure fabrication follows approved drawings and quality standards. * Resolve production issues affecting project schedules. * Monitor workshop productivity and resource utilization. **Site Execution** * Coordinate site execution activities with Site Engineers and Supervisors. * Monitor installation and erection progress. * Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and project specifications. * Coordinate site inspections and client approvals. * Support project teams in resolving site\-related technical issues. **Cost Control \& Commercial Support** * Monitor project costs against approved budgets. * Track project productivity and resource utilization. * Assist in project forecasting and cost reporting. * Support variation orders and change management. * Coordinate with the commercial team regarding project billing and progress claims. **Quality \& HSE** * Ensure compliance with project quality standards and QA/QC procedures. * Coordinate inspections with QA/QC teams. * Ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulations. * Support implementation of company quality and safety management systems. **Reporting \& Documentation** * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports. * Maintain project dashboards, KPIs, S\-Curves, and progress tracking reports. * Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, and action logs. * Ensure all project records are accurate and up to date. * Prepare close\-out documentation and final project reports. **Meetings \& Communication** * Attend client, consultant, subcontractor, and internal coordination meetings. * Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action items. * Communicate project updates to management and stakeholders. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. **Risk Management** * Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans. * Monitor project issues and recommend corrective actions. * Support delay analysis and recovery planning. * Ensure timely resolution of technical and commercial issues. **General Responsibilities** * Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. * Support continuous improvement initiatives. * Maintain confidentiality of project information. * Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management. **RequirementsEducation** * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. **Experience** * 3–8 years of experience in project management, project engineering, or construction project execution. * Experience in Structural Steel, PEB, Steel Fabrication, Oil \& Gas, Industrial, EPC, Infrastructure, or Commercial Construction projects. * GCC/UAE experience is preferred. **Technical Skills** * Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. * Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar). * Ability to read IFC drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications. * Knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, procurement, fabrication, and construction management. **Core Competencies** * Project planning and execution. * Leadership
