**What will you do** As a **Project Engineer – Telecom**, you will be involved in managing client relationships and project execution for telecom system installations in Qatar. You will lead teams, manage budgets, oversee technical designs, communicate with clients, and mitigate risks while ensuring quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. **How will you do it** You will be involved in: * **Stakeholder \& Client Management:** Act as the main contact for clients and contractors. Lead meetings, resolve issues, and manage change requests. * **Project Initiation:** Review scope and goals with Sales. Align project with client specifications, HSE standards, and international codes. Prepare an execution plan, ensuring focus on what matters by staying close to the work. * **Project Planning:** Create detailed plans with timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinate schedules and ensure alignment with contract terms, owning outcomes with accountability, safety, and integrity. * **Team Leadership:** Lead engineering and site teams, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure smooth communication, winning as one team by embracing collaboration. * **Budget \& Cost Control:** Manage budgets, track costs, and approve purchases. Forecast costs and handle scope changes. * **Technical Oversight:** Review and approve designs. Ensure proper integration of telecom systems and resolve technical issues, improving every day through continuous improvement. * **Client Communication:** Provide regular updates and reports. Manage expectations and ensure satisfaction, removing obstacles for customers. * **Risk Management:** Identify risks, assess impact, and implement mitigation plans. * **Quality Assurance:** Ensure compliance with standards. Oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning. * **Documentation \& Reporting:** Maintain project records, prepare reports, and ensure audit\-ready documentation. * **Procurement \& Vendor Management:** Select vendors, manage procurement timelines, and ensure compliance with specifications. * **Installation Supervision:** Oversee telecom system installation in challenging environments. Coordinate with other disciplines while collaborating to ensure smooth project execution. * **Regulatory \& Safety Compliance:** Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards. Coordinate permits and inspections. * **Testing \& Handover:** Lead FAT/SAT and commissioning. Approve test procedures and manage client handover. * **Project Closure:** Finalize handover, conduct reviews, and support warranty phase. Capture lessons learned, improving processes through reflective analysis. **What we look for** **Required:** * Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar. * 10\+ years of experience in low voltage, security, and telecom systems. * Experience in **EPC/FEED** and **Oil \& Gas** projects is beneficial. * Strong knowledge of low current systems: Access Control, CCTV, LAN, VOIP, WiFi, Fire Detection, Intercom, **PAGA**, Radio (UHF/VHF), etc. * Skilled in project planning, costing, and execution. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills. * Able to **prepare professional documents and client communications**. * Good understanding of contracts and vendor coordination. **Preferred:** * Experience with JCI/TYCO UAE and Oil \& Gas projects. * PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications are a plus. * Background in Telecom System Integration (TSI) is an advantage.
