Project Engineer (Civil)

**Experience:** 10 Years **Job Purpose:** Responsible for supporting and overseeing civil project execution, quantity and cost management, and HSE activities to ensure that site operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Coordinate the review of civil and structural drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements, technical standards, and client specifications. * Coordinate RFIs, technical clarifications, and design modifications with consultants, contractors, and relevant project teams. * Monitor project quantities, BOQs, variations, and related cost information to support effective project cost management. * Review, verify, and provide technical input on contractor payment applications and cost\-related claims. * Ensure proper implementation of the project HSE procedures and safety requirements across the site. * Carry out site risk assessments and participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings. * Monitor site activities for HSE compliance and take appropriate action where required. * Assist in investigating site incidents, preparing reports, and following up on corrective and preventive actions. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. * Minimum **10 years of experience** in civil construction and project execution. * Solid experience in civil and structural works, preferably within industrial or infrastructure projects. * Good understanding of BOQ, quantities, variations, cost control, and contractor claims. * Good knowledge of site HSE requirements, risk assessment, and incident reporting. * Strong coordination and communication skills with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
