Responsibilities The Project Doctor is responsible for providing occupational health and emergency medical services to project personnel. The role delivers medical treatment, conducts fitness\-for\-work assessments, supports emergency response, promotes worker health, and ensures compliance with project HSE requirements and applicable Saudi Arabian regulations. The Project Doctor works closely with the HSE team and project management to protect worker health, manage occupational risks, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment. * Provide primary medical care to all project personnel. * Diagnose and treat occupational and non\-occupational illnesses and injuries. * Stabilize emergency cases before transfer to hospital. * Maintain a fully operational project clinic and ambulance * Ensure medical equipment and medicines are available, calibrated, and within expiry dates. * Liaise with local hospitals and emergency medical services. * Act as the lead medical responder during emergencies and participate in emergency drills * Conduct pre\-employment, periodic, high\-risk activity worker and return\-to\-work medical examinations * Monitor heat stress risks during the summer months and implement heat stress prevention programs. * Plan and conduct health\-related training and awareness sessions * Manage outbreaks and implement infection control measures. * Conduct regular Camp Hygiene and Food Hygiene Inspections. * Maintain all confidential medical records, reports, audits, and inspections. * Assess injured employees returning to work and monitor rehabilitation progress. * Comply with corporate information security policies and procedures relevant to the role. * Preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Board and corporate information. * Ensure access to sensitive information is restricted to authorized individuals. * Protect organizational information assets from compromise. * Comply with Data Protection and Intellectual Property Rights legislation applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Qualifications * Medical Degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from a recognized university * Registered with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). * Possess ACLS, BLS, ATLS, PHTLS and emergency medical response certifications. * 10 Years of clinical experience and at least 5 years of occupational health or site doctor experience. * Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat work\-related and general medical conditions. * Implement infection control measures and manage communicable disease risks on site. * Implement and manage occupational health surveillance and medical monitoring programs. * Provide medical support during incident investigations and recommend preventive health measures. * Assess and manage health risks associated with heat, dehydration, dust, noise, chemicals, and other environmental exposures. * Focused on achieving quality outcomes efficiently by setting clear goals and delivering against them. * Prioritizing the health, safety, and wellbeing of self and others in the workplace. * Ability to adjust quickly to changing environments, learn new skills, and thrive under pressure. * Proficiency in using digital tools, platforms, and systems relevant to one’s role.
