### **Production Support Engineer – Java / .NET** **Location:** Abu Dhabi **Experience:** 5\+ Years **Work Arrangement:** Rotational Shifts ### **About the Role** We are looking for an experienced **Production Support Engineer** with strong hands\-on experience supporting **Java or .NET applications** in a production environment. The role involves monitoring applications, troubleshooting incidents, performing root\-cause analysis, and coordinating with L2/L3 teams and development teams to ensure high availability and stability of business\-critical applications. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Provide **L1/L2 production support** for Java or .NET\-based applications. * Monitor production applications, services, jobs, and system health. * Investigate and resolve application incidents within defined **SLAs**. * Perform troubleshooting and **root\-cause analysis** for recurring production issues. * Analyze application logs, errors, and performance issues. * Work with development, infrastructure, database, and L3 teams for complex issue resolution. * Execute and support application deployments, releases, patches, and emergency fixes. * Perform **SQL queries** for data validation and production issue analysis. * Troubleshoot **API/integration issues** and validate API responses. * Follow **ITIL processes** including Incident, Problem, and Change Management. * Maintain proper incident documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures. * Participate in rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays. ### **Required Skills \& Experience** * **5\+ years of experience in Java or .NET Production/Application Support.** * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. * Good knowledge of **Java/.NET application architecture and runtime environments**. * Experience with **SQL** and relational databases. * Good understanding of **Windows and/or Linux** environments. * Experience with application monitoring, log analysis, and incident management. * Knowledge of **REST APIs, web services, and integrations**. * Good understanding of **ITIL and SLA\-driven production support**. * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and business teams. * Banking/financial services experience is preferred. ### **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. * **ITIL v4 Foundation** certification is preferred. * Experience supporting high\-volume, business\-critical applications. * Exposure to scripting, automation, CI/CD, or monitoring tools is an advantage. * Willingness to work in **24x7 rotational shifts**. **Skills:** Java , .NET , SQL
