Job description

• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily joinery production activities. • Manage production teams, including supervisors, carpenters, machine operators, and helpers. • Ensure production targets and delivery deadlines are achieved. • Monitor workflow and optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization. • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. • Coordinate with Design, Estimation, Procurement, Stores, and Project teams to ensure smooth production. • Monitor production costs and implement measures to improve productivity and reduce waste. • Ensure preventive maintenance of woodworking machinery and equipment. • Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies within the factory. • Conduct regular quality inspections and resolve production-related issues. • Train, mentor, and evaluate production employees to improve performance and skills. • Prepare production reports, manpower reports, and KPI performance reports. • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles. • Ensure compliance with company policies and ISO quality standards. • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Wood Technology, Furniture Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in joinery, furniture manufacturing, or interior fit-out production. • At least 3–5 years in a Production Manager or similar leadership role. • Strong knowledge of joinery production processes, woodworking machinery, CNC operations, and finishing. • Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, quality control, and resource management. • Ability to lead and motivate production teams to achieve productivity and quality targets. • Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices. • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. • Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards in a manufacturing environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems. • Excellent communication and coordination skills with design, procurement, and project teams. • Results-oriented, proactive, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
